Eastren Bhutan Tours can be done through two alternative places. It is a long duration tour for those who begins the tour from Paro and it can be done through the Eastren Bhutan Gateway of Samdrup Jongkhar or vice versa
Day 01: Paro
Received from the airport, halt at Paro.
Day 02: Paro
Visit to Drugyel Dzong, Taktshang monastery, sightseeing Paro valley, halt at Paro.
Day 03: Paro – Thimphu
Halt at Thimphu.
Day 04: Thimphu
Day hike to Phajuden, sightseeing Thimphu valley, halt at Thimphu.
Day 05: Thimphu
Visit to Tango and Cheri Monastery, national museum, memorial chorten, and other historical places.
Day 06: Thimphu – Punakha
Visit to Punakha dzong, sightseeing and visiting at the historical places, halt at Punakha.
Day 07: Punakha – Gangtey
Halt to Gangtey.
Day 08: Gangtey – Trongsa
Halt at Trongsa.
Day 09: Trongsa – Bumthang
Visit to Trongsa Dzong, Ta Dzong, halt at Bumthang.
Day 10: Bumthang
Visit to Meber Tsho, halt at Bumthang.

Visit to Kuje and Jampay Lhang, visit some historical places, sitheseeing etc, halt at Bumthang.

Visit to Lhuntse Dzong, Sightseeing Lhuntse, Halt at Mongar.
Day 14: Mongar – Trashigang
Visit to Trashi gang Dzong, sight seeing at Kanglung and Yonphula, Rangjung etc, halt at Trashigang.
Day 15: Trashigang – Yangtse
Visit to Bumdeling, sightseeing Yangtse, visit to old Dzong. Halt at Trashi Gang.
Day 16: Trashigang – Samdrup Jongkhar
Halt at Samdrup Jongkhar.
Day 17: Samdrup Jongkhar
Sightseeing town and Dzongs.
Day 18: Guahati
Drop at the Guahati airport.
